This wasn’t a full rebrand. HMG already had a strong identity that works. What we set out to do was give their visuals a modern facelift, one that matches their growth and the impact they’re making in the iron ore mining space.

From updating layouts and tightening their visual language to refreshing photography and digital content, the goal was simple: make the brand look as strong and forward-thinking as the people behind it.

On the Ground in Kathu

To capture the essence of who Hlabaki Mining Group is, we visited both their head office and mining site. Seeing the team in action, young engineers, operators, and leaders running things with purpose and precision, gave us the full picture.

It’s not every day you come across a company this young and this driven, operating confidently in such a tough industry. That energy was something we wanted to translate visually.
